I was happy to see both familiar and new (to me, anyway) faces among the Most Loved Pets first-place winners announced yesterday — among them was one storied bird, Muggsy, whose owner I checked back in with back in October following the Pets competition getting under way. Catch a gallery from a photo shoot I did with Leckrone in 2010 here in Nashville below.

Find more video from Trucker Josh and his ridealong companion via this link to his video blog's main page.

Also below, a bit more of an introduction to Canadian company driver “Trucker Josh,” as he’s known on his YouTube channel, something of a comprehensive video blog (or “vlog”) about his trips into and out of Canada hauling dry freight for Keystone Western and making creative good use of in-cab cameras. This recent entry makes that pretty clear

His dog, Diesel, of course, features prominently.

And finally we announce the top vote-getters of Overdrive’s Most Loved Pet contest: a Rottweiler cross, a white and gray cat and a grand harlequin macaw.

In the vids embedded here, you’ll find the Trucker Josh channel trailer, likewise an example of one of his vlog entries, a tour through the 2013 Pete 386 (Cummins-powered) he hauls in. Posted this past summer, it’s a great example  that he hauls in for Keystone Western. A tour around the exterior of the rig and engine you can find here.
